1ST NATIONAL ANTI-CYBERCRIME RUN "500k vs Cybercrimes"

“October 12, 2011 – Weconnect. Inc’s Cybercrime Buster officially launched the first ever National Awareness campaign against cybercrimes – 500K Runners vs Cyber Crimes. The fun run advocacy campaign is about letting the public be informed not only about the dangers of online world but also to teach them what they can do when faced with such situation.

The group behind this campaign believes that the gathering more than enough participants all around the globe for the fun run will get event be included in the Guiness Book of World Records. The main event is scheduled on December 10, 2011 at Quirino Grandstand Open Field from 4PM onwards of the aforementioned date. Humble sum of the proceeds will be donated to cause-worthy beneficiaries like Lifeline Foundation and other organization.


With full support coming from the cooperation of PNP-CIDG Angel Net, this anti-cybercrime campaign is expected to be successful event not only in the national but in the international scenario in the years to come or maybe sooner.

The advocacy campaign was organized by Weconnect Inc’s CEO himself together with Michael Angelo Matawaran – Weconnect Inc’s Vice President, Hershey Barnett – Weconnect Inc’s Online Marketing and Creative Director, and Jc Carrillo – 500K vs Cybercrimes’s Race Director
